How has everyone's weekend been going? I spent both Friday and last night practicing gel nail enhancements on a few family members! And today I'll be doing some swatching as well as setting up my new melmer/doing some stash re-organization. I have a fun day ahead of me!
I'll also be watching the season premiere of The Amazing Race later tonight. There's something you probably didn't know about me: I absolutely love reality competition shows like The Amazing Race, Survivor, Big Brother, Hell's Kitchen, etc.
Anyways, today I'm sharing my swatches of the Spring 2013 Zoya Lovely Collection with you. This collection was actually an unexpected gift from a fellow nail addict! How nice, right?

Blu is a pale baby blue creme. Now I must warn you, my photo is a bit off for this one. My camera does well with pretty much every other colour, but it really hates blues, especially lighter ones like this. I'll stress that the colour of the polish is accurate, but it distorted the colour of my skin. So I had to do some colour adjusting to the picture, which is something I very rarely do. Anyways, this one had a great formula and my swatch shows two coats.

Gie Gie is a pale pink with lots of silver-white shimmer. These white shimmer polishes started popping up with the Nicole by OPI Kardashian Collections, but now Zoya has gone and done them right. The other brands I've tried needed at least four coats on their own or they'd have to be layered over another polish. This one needed three coats, but the good formula made that easy to accomplish without it being too thick.

Jacqueline is a beige nude creme. I've really been feeling nudes lately, and this one is no exception. I can definitely see this being the base for some nail art soon. Application was a little patchy at first, but it did even out after three thin coats.

Julie is a pale lilac with that same white-silver shimmer. The formula was quite good and I've shown two coats below.

Neely is a pale green creme. It has a touch of dusty-ness to it that keeps it from being a mint green. The application was about the same as with Jacqueline - a little patchy at first, but it evened out well after three coats.

Piaf is a mustard-y golden yellow with the white-silver shimmer. Very interesting colour. Looking at the bottle, I thought that I wouldn't like it at all, but once I got it on I changed my mind completely! It doesn't work the best with my cool skintone, but that's never stopped me from wearing a polish in the past! This one also had the best formula out of the shimmers and it only needed two coats to reach opacity.

Overall, this is a pretty collection that's perfect for Spring. I can see myself wearing most, if not all of the colours. My favourites though are Jacqueline, Neely and Piaf.
The Zoya Lovely Collection was released in January, so you should have no trouble getting your hands on them.
