So I'm still not feeling 100% better, but I was feeling well enough last night to paint my nails. So today I have this week's piCture pOlish post!

Majesty is a golden, coppery nude shimmer with lots of holographic particles throughout. The holo particles are larger than normal, but still create a perfectly smooth texture. In the bottle, it didn't seem like my style of polish, but I completely changed my mind once I put it on! It's actually quite lovely. The formula is sheer, but easily buildable with three easy coats.

Majesty is also one of the piCture pOlish collaboration shades and I've got to say, I really love the whole idea behind the collaboration collection. I love seeing a brand working so closely with bloggers and of course, I love seeing some of my favourite bloggers personalities captured in a single polish. It's just awesome. I wanted to add some nail art to Majesty without covering it up too much, so I decided to whip out my striping tape and add a few horizontal stripes in a bold, contrasting colour.

I've said it many times before, but I don't really like working with tape. I love the results, but usually I find I can achieve almost the same results by using a striping brush. However when it comes to horizontal stripes, I'll be completely honest and admit that I really suck at doing them freehand. So, striping tape to the rescue!
All I did was add block off some randomly sized/placed sections on each nail and then filled them in using a black creme polish. I added a coat of top coat and voila! I really love the contrast between the soft shimmer and the bold black creme!
