Happy Friday! What does everyone have planned for the weekend? I've got a client coming over today, David and I are hosting poker tomorrow evening, and Sunday is my swatching day, so it's a pretty jam-packed weekend!

To get your weekend started, I have some pretty glitter polishes from Shimmer to share with you. This is my fifth post of Shimmer swatches so if you missed the first four, check them out here.

Josephine features pink, orange, gold and blue glitters in a clear base. I've shown it here over Models Own Strawberry Tart. As I've come to expect from Shimmer, the formula was really good and I just used one coat to get the coverage you see below.

Katie consists of pink, lime, teal, gold and silver glitter. I'm pretty this one is actually named after Katie from Harlow & Co.! Cool, right? Who doesn't want a nail polish named after them? This one I've layered over Models Own Apple Pie. The formula was of course great and I needed just one coat over the base polish.

Kim is a mix of blue, purple, silver and holographic glitter. Ok, I love this one. A lot. It's definitely one of my favourite Shimmer shades. I chose to layer it over Models Own Blueberry Muffin. The formula was excellent and again, it was just one coat to get all that glitter coverage.

Lucie features silver, holographic and red glitter in a clear base. This one is named after the lovely blogger behind Lucy's Stash! I've shown it layered over Models Own Grape Juice, which is an interesting combo, but I think this might pop more over a black. The formula was excellent and I needed one coat over the base polish.

Wendy is a mix of purple, blue, copper and gold glitters in a slightly copper tinted base. This is a very interesting glitter mix that I think works really well together. I've shown it over Models Own Banana Split. Once again, the formula was really great and I needed just one coat.

As I've said in all of the previous posts, Shimmer polishes are all very complex and it's clear that a lot of thought goes into designing each one. And with so many different colour options (I alone own 37 different Shimmer Polish shades), there's definitely something for everyone.

Shimmer Polish is available via the Shimmer Polish Etsy shop. Each shade retails for $12. If you're not in the US shipping can be pretty steep, so Shimmer Polish is also available from Harlow & Co. for us Canadian and international ladies.

The product(s) in this post were provided by the manufacturer or their PR in exchange for an honest review.
