Hey guys!
I know I just did some cheetah print nails for my trip, but I started my nail course on Sunday and I just had to do a very "me" manicure for that. And what's more me than a mix of peacock colours and animal print? Not much, I don't think!
To create this "me" mani, I started with a quick base of white polish (Sinful Colors Snow Me White) so that my gradient colours would pop. Then I used the steps I outlined in my gradient nails tutorial to create the peacock inspired gradient using Illamasqua Jo'Mina, Illamasqua Noble and Color Club Twiggie.
Jo'Mina and Noble are actually two polishes that I picked up while on vacation! I'll show full swatches of them eventually. I think they work perfectly along with Twiggie to create a beautiful peacock gradient.
Once my gradient was just about dry, I added the leopard spots using a small detail brush and Wet 'n' Wild Black Creme. And as always, I topped the mani off with a coat of Seche Vite.
It'll come as no surprise that I really, really love this mani. It's definitely one of my favourites that's I've done in a while. And it got a lot of compliments during my course, too!
Thanks for looking!
